A Welcome Partnership.
DocTrials has partnered with Dr. Douglas Katsev since 2017 at Sansum. After a break, DocTrials worked with Dr. Katsev again at his new clinic at Santa Barbara Eyecare in 2022. In our partnership, we have seen patients for a variety of studies including pterygia (surfer’s eye), presbyopia (trouble seeing up close), ocular hypertension, glaucoma, and more.

Santa Barbara Eyecare is located right across from Trader Joe’s (and our surgery location, Santa Barbara Surgery Center, is there as well).
Parking
There is complimentary parking behind the clinic by entering through Archer’s Alley.
If no parking is available, there is further parking available on W Calle Crespis Street adjacent to the clinic.
