Meaghan brings over 17 years of experience in the clinical research industry. With a passion for process building and systems, she has set DocTrials apart by implementing consistency while maintaining focus always on patient continuity of care. She is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and innovation within DocTrials, ensuring continued success in the dynamic field of clinical research.

Outside of her professional endeavors Meaghan enjoys practicing yoga, hiking in the beautiful Arizona desert, and exploring new destinations with her husband and two children.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, FOUNDER

Erin has been with DocTrials since its inception, bringing a wealth of expertise in scientific research and psychology. Graduating summa cum laude with a Master’s Degree in Science in Psychology, Erin is dedicated to fostering both personal and professional growth within the team through her experience.

As a native of Arizona, Erin loves the desert and the diversity of restaurants within Arizona. Outside of work, she does yoga every day and is busy keeping up with her family. Through her long tenure here at DocTrials, Erin has participated in the conduct of over 200 clinical trials at DocTrials.

DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL OPERATIONS

Mallory joined DocTrials in 2014 after graduating from Arizona State University with a MS in Psychology. Mallory has experience in many roles throughout her tenure with DocTrials and enjoys the variety and challenge of clinical research. Originally from California, she loves spending time by the pool with her family, trying new foods, and baking.

FINANCE MANAGER

Brigid joined DocTrials in 2016. She graduated from The University of Arizona in 2014 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. Throughout the years, Brigid has transitioned though various roles at DocTrials. In her free time Brigid enjoys hiking, going to baseball games and attending concerts.

NVE SITE MANAGER

Pinoi joined DocTrials in 2019. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, Kinesiology, and Chemistry minor at UNLV and is a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant.

ADMINISTRATOR

Joining DocTrials in 2019, Laurie brings a wealth of expertise in administration, with a focus on employee onboarding, invoicing, state compliance, and meticulously planning team-building events. Her dedication to efficiency and detail-oriented solutions stems from her strong foundation in business administration, cultivated during her college years in Iowa. Laurie and her husband relocated to Arizona on Valentine’s Day in 2001. Outside of work, Laurie finds joy in practicing yoga and cherishing moments with her two daughters.

START-UP OPERATIONS MANAGER

Maggie started at DocTrials in 2020. She graduated from Virigina Tech in 2018 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences & a minor in Medicine in Society. She also earned a Masters of Education from UNLV and taught science for 2 years as part of Teach for America before migrating to clinical research. She also loves EDM, reading, and crafting.

CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR, CERTIFIED PHLEBOTOMIST (CPT-1)

Andy joined DocTrials in 2022, and is the main coordinator at Santa Barbara Eyecare. He graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2023 with a BS in Microbiology. While there, Andy worked as an optometric technician and also as an undergraduate researcher studying novel antibiotics with the Wilbanks Lab. He enjoys scuba diving and surfing and hopes to attend medical school in he future.

SITE MANAGER, Southeast Valley

Maya has been with DocTrials since 2022. She earned her B.S. in biomedical science from Arizona State University in 2021. In her free time, she is an avid podcast listener and loves going to the gym and baking.

RESEARCH TECHNICIAN

Norma is a COA and a MA. Has participated in over 180 Retinal Research Studies. Is a Certfied Bilingual interpreter. Is a big sports fan, loves to play tennis, volleyball, basketball and lately picke-ball. Would love to learn Portuguese and Italian. Started in Ophthalmology at the age of 18 and is now 55. Will soon be taking a test to become a Certified Retinal Angiographer.

Maggie joined DocTrials in 2023. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in International Relations in 2017 and has had a full spectrum of professional experience since. She stumbled upon clinical research in late 2022 and earned a certificate in Clinical Research in early 2023. She loves being involved in such a rewarding career. In her free time, Maggie enjoys climbing, trail running, and reading.

Breanna joined DocTrials in 2023. She earned her B.S. in Medical Studies from Arizona State University in 2022. Currently, she is working on a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Creighton University.

DATA COORDINATOR

Katie joined Doctrials in 2023. She is currently an undergraduate student at Baylor University where she is studying Accounting and Management Information Systems. She plans on obtaining her Masters in Accounting by December 2025 and persue her CPA . In her free time Katie enjoys spending time outside, running, and having picnics at the lake!

RESEARCH TECHNICIAN

Dayna joined DocTrials in 2023. She earned a BFA from Arizona State University and an MFA from the Trondheim Academy of Fine Art in Norway. Dayna has many years of ophthalmic photography experience and has worked on numerous clinical trials. She enjoys art, animals, and adventure.

DATA COORDINATOR

Hunter joined DocTrials in 2023. He is currently an undergraduate at Baylor University where he is studying Biology with plans to pursue a career in medicine. In his free time, Hunter enjoys playing musical instruments, cooking, dog training, and running. Hunter just recently completed his first marathon in Austin, TX.

Leo joined us in 2023. He graduated with a BS in Biology from Washington State University and then graduated from UAG Medical School in 2022 with an Internship in Urology for 1 year. Leo loves to play volleyball and chase sunsets in free time.

Madie joined DocTrials in 2024. She earned her B.S in Biology pre-emphasis on Physician Assistant from Grand Canyon University in 2023. She aspires to get her Master's degree for Physician Assistant in the near future. In her free time, Madie enjoys traveling, hiking, shopping, and planting new plants.

Aislinn joined DocTrials in 2024. She is currently an undergraduate student at Columbia University studying Psychology, with plans to attend medical school in the future. In her free time, Aislinn enjoys playing volleyball, baking, and trying new restaurants.
